COMMUNITY

At TPA, our COMMUNITY Portfolio reflects our commitment to delivering thoughtful, well-integrated development outcomes that enhance the lives of residents and contribute positively to local neighbourhoods. Through strategic planning and expert guidance, we support a wide range of development applications that focus on community-oriented uses — from childcare centres, affordable housing, recreation, and mixed-use precincts.  Our team works closely with clients, councils, and stakeholders to ensure each proposal aligns with planning frameworks while responding to the unique needs of the community.  TPA’s Community Portfolio is about creating places that people value — now and into the future.

    BUNDALL, QLD

Working with Zone Landscaping Architect in a City of Gold Coast project & in response to ongoing population growth and evolving community needs, exciting upgrades were made to the incredibly popular local park at Tallebudgera Creek. These works were to invigorate the space, improve accessibility, and create a more inclusive and enjoyable environment for all visitors.  The upgrade included new playground equipment, enhanced lighting, water fountains, new garden & tree planting and upgraded car parking including accessible PWD spaces close to the park frontage.  These improvements ensure that the park continues to be a welcoming space for the growing community.

  • Place of Worship

    TINGALPA, QLD

TPA obtained a development approval for a place of worship at Tingalpa, designed to meet the growing needs of the local congregation and broader community. Strategically located opposite Agnew School and adjacent to local parkland, the site is also within close proximity to shopping centres, public transport, and sporting grounds—meeting the locational criteria of the Community Facility Code under the Brisbane City Plan 2014.  An Economic Needs Assessment confirmed the suitability of the site, highlighted improved accessibility for the congregation, strong alignment with the needs of families and no significant impact of the supply of industrial land in the Tingalpa / Wakerley precinct.   Along with the place of worship, TPA assisted the landowners with a Reconfiguration of a Lot application and plan sealing application.

COTTAGE GROVE EARLY LEARNING

  • Uni Lodge

    TOOWONG, QLD

An approval for Rooming / Short Term Accommodation was achieved at Toowong within levels 8 to 15 of an existing 15-storey building. The application was to answer the evolving market conditions, including reduced demand for student accommodation and the need for greater flexibility in residential offerings.  The approval ensures the development remains viable and responsive to community needs, while maintaining compatibility with surrounding uses and the broader planning framework.
