DIRECTOR
Vu is the founding director of Town Planning Alliance (TPA), bringing over 20 years of experience in both public and private sectors. With qualifications in urban planning and landscape architecture, he began his career at Brisbane City Council before moving into private consultancy. Since establishing his own private practice in 2007, Vu has led a wide range of development projects across commercial, residential, and healthcare sectors, with a focus on optimising infill developments. His strengths lie in strategic development advisory, stakeholder engagement, and creating functional spaces that balance community value with commercial outcomes. As leader of the QLD planning team, Vu plays a key role in property acquisition, due diligence, and development strategy. Vu has also held industry board roles in aged care and student accommodation.

DIRECTOR
Jordans experience spans over both local government and private consultancy. He held key roles in Brisbane City Council’s RiskSMART & AssessSMART before finding his home at TPA. Jordan specialises in the preparation and assessment of development applications, offering a nuanced understanding of regulatory frameworks and client-side priorities. Known for his ability to resolve complex planning challenges with a clear focus on commercial outcomes, he has delivered successful outcomes across a broad spectrum of projects, including childcare centres, healthcare facilities, student accommodation, and multi-residential developments. Jordan is also a dedicated mentor to young planners in our offices.

PRINCIPAL PLANNER
Alyssa is a qualified urban planner with a Master of Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Sydney. Her extensive experience in both public and private sectors includes roles at State and Local Government levels in Sydney and the Northern Rivers, where she has assessed and contributed to a broad range of State and Regionally Significant projects and complex development applications. Since joining TPA in 2024, Alyssa has been instrumental in delivering planning solutions across NSW, offering strategic advice and driving successful outcomes for clients.

SENIOR PLANNER
Claudia holds a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning from the University of Queensland and brings over 7 years of diverse planning experience across Queensland, Australia and the UK. Her career spans roles at Victor Feros Town Planning Consultants, Richmond upon Thames London Borough Council, UK, and Planit Consulting, before joining TPA where she has been a valued team member for more than three years. Claudia’s well-rounded background supports her commitment to delivering thoughtful, practical planning outcomes with her focus on residential multi-unit dwellings and greenfield land subdivisions.

Jessica brings over 17 years of experience with Town Planning Alliance (TPA), where she has successfully delivered a broad spectrum of projects across Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory. With a degree in Regional & Town Planning, she offers deep expertise across key sectors including residential, retail, education, aged care, and resources. Her strength lies in residential development, ranging from boutique infill projects to high rise residential and large-scale master-planned communities. As the lead for our Northern NSW office, Jessica is a trusted advisor known for her strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and commitment to delivering practical, high-quality planning outcomes.

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Rheann brings over 18 years of experience in the development sector and has a strong awareness of corporate governance in her pivotal role overseeing the operational & financial management. Known for her hands-on, results-oriented style, Rheann draws on deep expertise in finance, administration, and strategic problem-solving to deliver outcomes for both the business and its clients. She excels at managing day-to-day operations while fostering strong collaboration and driving continuous improvement across teams. She also offers strong post approval support to ensure post development and plan sealing goals are achieved in a timely and efficient manner.

PRINCIPAL PLANNER
Tom holds a Bachelor of Regional & Town Planning from the University of Queensland and brings over a decade of experience in the private sector. Since joining TPA in late 2020, his comprehensive knowledge of the planning industry has helped facilitate a number of complex development approvals throughout Queensland for a range of development types, including residential, commercial, retail and industrial projects. His ability to form strong working relationships with key stakeholders, coupled with his technical expertise of planning policy and legislation, has consistently led to positive development outcomes and delivered value for his clients.

Rachel is a detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong experience in financial administration, reporting, and process support. Known for accuracy and efficiency, Rachel plays a key role in managing day-to-day finance, supporting budgeting and reconciliation tasks, and ensuring smooth financial workflows across the team.

With over 19 years of industry experience, 13 of those as a qualified Town Planner, Cheri leads the Gold Coast office with a strong foundation in both public and private sector planning. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of planning services, from complex development applications to detailed site feasibility assessments. Cheri’s collaborative approach and deep understanding of planning frameworks enable her to deliver practical, outcome-focused solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, including subdivisions, mixed-use, and commercial developments.

Brendan is a qualified Urban and Environmental Planner with over ten years of professional experience across various states and territories. He brings a high level of analytical expertise and effective communication to every project—ranging from due diligence assessments to the coordination of complex development applications. At TPA, Brendan plays a key role in delivering expert town planning advice, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects —all with a commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes for clients.
